KP to bring increased competition to NSW Government customers
Knowledge Partners is pleased to announce that the New South Wales Government has formally accepted KP's tender for Government Selected Application Systems (GSAS) Information Asset Management Systems (IAMS) and Implementation & Managed Services (SIMS).
The GSAS Program is a key element within the NSW government’s IM&T strategy. It provides "Common Use Contract" lists of preferred companies to meet the needs of the majority of NSW Government agencies for services around ECM or EDRMS technologies. The objective from the NSW Government’s perspective is to simplify the selection process for appropriate providers at the agency level and leverage from the sector’s implementation experience. Cost savings are also achieved through economies of scale. Agencies are required to select from the GSAS panel contract lists when replacing a corporate application or undertaking a major upgrade of their ECM solution.
With the introduction of KP into the NSW government space, Knowledge Partners expects to bring an increased level of service and support to government agencies as well a hardy competition for incumbent providers. We see this as a great win, not only for KP, but for the government and therefore the people of New South Wales. -- Carl Lindemann, Commercial Director, Knowledge Partners
